A civil engineer
is responsible for designing and supervising infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, waterways, sewage treatment plants and other types of
infrastructure. They manage, design, develop, create and maintain
construction projects. They conduct on-site investigations and
analyze data. They assess potential risks, materials and costs. They ensure each project is feasible by analyzing
local and environmental impacts and making sure that they can be completed on
time within the budget restrictions. They also prepare and implement project plans.
